None of us face death gladly and making a will is often the first step we take to admitting our own mortality. At the same time, settling your affairs brings with it peace of mind for you and your family and, if you have not already made a will, it would be advisable to see a solicitor without delay.
The Countess of Brecknock Hospice has for over ten years been a centre of excellence, providing specialist palliative care and support for our patients and their families. This work can only continue if funds are generously donated. It costs a great deal to maintain the high standards of our Hospice, and your legacy would help us to continue to improve the quality of life of the terminally ill.
If you already have a will, it is possible to include the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in your bequests by adding a codicil and, as you may know, charitable gifts are free from inheritance tax. A bequest, of whatever size, can make a big difference to our hospice.
I may not have the opportunity to thank you personally for your generous donation, but do so most sincerely on behalf of our patients and staff.
Mrs Mary Fagan JP,
