Fundraising and Donations
The Hospice, which was totally built and for the first five years run by voluntary donations, is now funded jointly by the North and Mid Hampshire Authority and the Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust.
The Hospice forms an important part of the local service run by the Andover NHS Trust and the Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust has to raise in the region of £180,000 every year as its contribution towards this service. This is an on-going commitment and the Trust relies totally on charitable donations to meet its responsibility.
