The Hospice Day Care Centre
The Hospice Day Care Centre offers an active day with professional supervision for ten patients - a break from routine for the patients and respite for their full-time carers. In a calm, quiet atmosphere patents can relax, share their problems, seek reassurance or simply enjoy one another's company.
An appointment with the volunteer hairdresser or the luxury of an assisted bath are amongst the facilities on offer to help make life as normal and manageable as possible.
Regular physiotherapy sessions help to keep limbs supple and pain at bay whilst the healing properties of aromatherapy have also proved very popular with day care patients
